Big news from Daylight!

Since our soft launch in early March, our small but mighty team of five has:
✅ Held five listening sessions
✅ Published 18 stories & newsletters
✅ Gained more than 150 newsletter subscribers
✅ Reached more than 500 followers on social media

And thanks to generous donors — including Janna Braun, Sam Fiske, Kelsey Hall, Andre Kopoyan, Ronald Mapp, Brendan Mehaffy, Donna M. Stewart and Danielle Williams — we’ve already raised more than $1,500 toward our $50,000 goal to fund independent, community-driven journalism in San Diego. But we still need your help to get there.

Reaching $50k means we can pay for:

○ Our fiscal sponsor services
○ Website, URL and email maintenance
○ Liability insurance
○ Offices supplies — journalists burn through A LOT of notebooks
○ Our upcoming fundraiser event
○ Printing business cards, flyers and stickers
○ Press badges
○ Paying a writer, photographer and editor to produce our first 90 articles

Every dollar brings us closer to the journalism San Diego deserves. Chip in today by donating through Givebutter.
