The No Kings protest movement will continue its efforts this Saturday with demonstrations across San Diego County.

According to organizers, this round of protests will focus on telling members of the public to vote early in the upcoming November election. People planning to vote in that election in California must be registered to vote by Oct. 19.

Organizers said that this time, the protests will not include a large event at Waterfront Park in downtown San Diego, unlike previous demonstration weekends.

Wendy Gelernter, San Diego United Organizing Committee member, said smaller events in different locations will better help engage and register voters.
