The DJ, graphic designer and MC designed a special bag for Daylight San Diego's upcoming event on Nov. 15.

The time has come, party people — the preorder has opened for this limited edition vinyl record tote designed by Ohmega Watts.

You'll be able to pick yours up at our event “From Digging to Spinning: Vinyl's San Diego Renaissance” happening on Nov. 15 at Mujeres Brew House from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

If you want a fresh bag to stash your new treasures in while you're digging at the record fair on site, this is your chance.

We're splitting the proceeds with Ohmega Watts, so your purchase supports local journalism and a local artist.

Ohmega said he designed the tote with our grassroots journalism in mind, hand-drawing the text to echo the tactile nature of both our work and vinyl digging.

The tote costs $28, but you get a discount if you are a paid member of Daylight San Diego. Our members can get their bag for $18. You can become a member to support our journalism year-round and make sure more events like this continue to happen in San Diego. If you're already a paid member, check your email later today for the discount code.

We don't intend to order extras beyond what's required by the printer, so if you want to make sure that you get one of these limited edition totes, order by midnight on Nov. 4.
